How does Chargify work with my existing website?
You have two options for integrating Chargify into your existing website. 1) The quickest and easiest way is to link your website to a custom branded payment page to sign up for your product or service. 2) For the more technically inclined, integrating our API gives you the ability to seamlessly integrate Chargify into your applications.
Is my billing data secure?
Yes. Chargify works with many leading payment gateways, to store your customers' cardholder data in a secure, PCI compliant environment. We work with leading payment gateways so you don’t ever have to worry about managing this sensitive billing information.
How long does it take before I can use the service after signing up?
If you already have a merchant account and a payment gateway account with one of the providers we support you can begin using Chargify immediately. Just input your merchant credentials into the Chargify setup tab and you’re ready to start billing. If you don’t have either of these accounts, they will often take 2-3 days to become active.
How many customers can I bill with Chargify?
Chargify is based on a freemium pricing model that allows you to bill 50 customers a month for free. Chargify is also the only recurring billing provider through which you can bill an unlimited number of customers for a flat monthly fee with no transaction fees ever.
How does Chargify bill my customers?
Chargify acts as an intermediary between your website and payment gateway. It allows you to create subscription plans, integrate them into the signup process on your website, and then initiates a transaction for the correct amount with your payment gateway.
Does Chargify store my customers’ credit card information?
Chargify doesn’t store credit card information of any kind. We’ve partnered with major payment gateways to store your customers’ cardholder data in a secure, PCI compliant environment.
